We have joyfully "adopted" the Bauzas as our missionary family. Recently, they mentioned having a great need for bicycles ($75) and motorcycles as these vehicles are used for the pastors to travel to and fro daily. If you'd like to send them funds for the bikes you can mail a check to:

Brief Bio:
Carlos and Silvia have been appointed missionaries with specialized assignment with the Church of the Nazarene. They presently serve in Mozambique, Africa.
In Mozambique, Carlos serves as district superintendent, Jesus film coordinator, church building coordinator, and compassionate ministries coordinator. He received a B.A. in commerce with specialty in cooperatives administration and a B.A. in theology. Silvia serves as administrator of the mission teaching extension education and women's ministries. She received a degree in architecture design and a B.A. in theology.
Carlos and Silvia have always shared a passion to minister to other cultures. For Sylvia, it started as she ministered to Native Americans in the North of Argentina. Together they pastored a church in the Indian area with the Toba Indians. During this pastorate they received a call to go as pioneers and start the Church of the Nazarene in Ciudad Del Este, Paraguay. In Paraguay, they worked six years as volunteer missionaries and started two churches in the north of the country.
They have served in Mozambique since 1998. When they first arrived, there were 86 churches in Mozambique and today there are 254 churches.
Carlos and Silvia praise God for the opportunity that he gives them to serve him as missionaries.
