Walk on Water, into 2017

Pastor Sharon Hurkens “Yes, come.” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” Matthew 14:29-31 Peter was the only person in the boat who reacted to Jesus in faith. The Greatest Gift

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 What’s the BEST Christmas gift that you’ve ever gotten? I’ll never forget mine. The year was 1996 and I received tickets to a Knicks vs Bulls game. After all, without Jesus being born and dying, we would still be looking for our Redeemer. But now, we h

Later He liberated them from the captivity of the Babylonians. In this Psalm we see that the Psalmist found God to be the Redeemer, the Rescuer, and the Savior. Ultimately, God came to rescue the entire human race in Jesus Christ. The ministry of Jesus was a rescue operation to people held in the bondage of sin. Psalm 107 is a call to gratitude for the salvation of
