Let Go Let God

Psalm 46: 1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." When times of trouble or stress invade our souls, remember who our God is and what He has promised us. There isn't a person alive who has not gone through worry, stress, and tribulations. At times we get hit with paying bills, or the doctor has given a bad report, or someone in our family is facing a difficult situation and the list could go on. Let it go and give it to God. This is not to say that we bury our heads in the sand or that we forget about the circumstances, but it does mean to pray to Jesus and leave it in His hands. Read Psalm 46 in its entirety and think about what God is telling us. If He did it

Be Faithful to God

If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13 Has someone ever been unfaithful to you? Did they betray you in some way? How did that make you feel? There are times in life when people will turn their backs on us. Their betrayal may even leave us brokenhearted. Did you know that God feels the same way every time we sin? It’s true! We break God’s heart whenever we sin and turn our back on Him. As children of God, our goal is to please the Lord not to hurt Him. So, this brings me to the question of the day. The Empty Person

The poor, deluded fool feeds on ashes. He trusts something that can’t help him at all. Yet he cannot bring himself to ask, “Is this idol that I’m holding in my hand a lie?” Isaiah 44:20 NLT Despite the economic turmoil in recent years, our society remains relatively affluent. We have more of everything and everything we have is bigger and better. Yet in the midst of the fullness of prosperity, there are multitudes of people who walk through life as if they are “empty.” We have learned to live behind a glossy, successful veneer in order to hide the gnawing inner hollowness of our lives. Many of the extremes of our age are merely efforts to find some meaning for life. The pain of emptine
