What should I expect?

When you arrive, expect to be greeted warmly by an usher who will give you visitor information and our weekly bulletin. At 10:00am, our Worship Team will begin playing songs that glorify God. You are encouraged to participate in the congregational singing. Afterwards, Pastor Steve will share God's Word. At the end of the Worship Service, you are invited to join us for complimentary bagels and coffee downstairs in our coffeehouse.

What is the service like?

Our worship service is contemporary in style.  We use multi media, combining the arts and video that are relevant to the message. The sermon is taken directly from the Bible and every effort is made to communicate God's message in a way that is relevant and applicable for today.  Our goal is to reveal God's love to all people and show how He can be alive to you personally. We make every effort to connect people with God and other followers of Jesus.  You will have an opportunity to make some great connections here. We hope that as you visit with us you will gain a deeper understanding of how great and wonderful God truly is.

How long is the service?

Usually about 1 hour, give or take a few minutes. After the Service, you're invited to join us for complimentary coffee and bagels downstairs in the coffeeshop.

Who are the Pastors?

The Lead Pastor is Stephan Hurkens  (Pastor Steve). His messages are inspiring and relevant for today and each message is backed by Scripture. Our Associate Pastor is his wife, Sharon Hurkens. Her ministry focuses on women "Shedding away the old and becoming new again with Christ." Occasionally, you may have the pleasure of hearing Pastor Sharon conduct a sermon. Make sure to visit Pastor Sharon's website, Shed away ministries.  For their complete bios, click here.

What type of people attend?

Do I have to sing?

We do encourage everyone to participate, but if you choose not to, that's okay - no one is looking at you, so just relax and enjoy the music. Sometimes just being silent is the best way to experience God's presence.

Do you have a nursery?

At 10 AM, we will care for your baby up to 2 1/2 years old. The nursery is full of age-appropriate toys and our caregivers will lovingly care for your child so you can enjoy the sermon without any distraction. If you'd like your baby to be fed or their diaper changed, please let the caregivers know. Click for nursery info.
