God Is In Control
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10
We live in a crazy world. Every day the news is constantly reporting on horrible events that have an impact on our culture. As Christians, it’s important for us to cling to the Lord and trust in Him. The world may be spinning out of control, but we must always remember that God is in control. Our faith in God will help us through these difficult times.
Psalm 37:40- And the Lord shall help them and deliver them. He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them because they trust in Him.
When we trust in God that’s when He will deliver and save us. It doesn’t matter what is going on in the world because God is in control, which means that we have nothing to fear. It’s very easy to be filled with anxiety after watching or listening to the news. Fear is a powerful tool used by the devil to challenge our faith. This is the reason it’s important for us to know that God is in control. He hasn’t left nor forsaken us. God is always on our side.
Psalm 118:6- The Lord is on my side. I will not fear. What can man do to me?
When the Lord is on your side that’s when you realize there is nothing to fear. Evil people cannot harm you. Why? The reason is because God goes on your behalf, which means that He will protect you. He won’t let anything bad happen to you. There is nothing to fear because God is in control.
Deuteronomy 31:8- And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
God hasn’t forsaken us! Everything going on in the world has to come to pass before the Second Coming of Christ.
Matthew 24:6-8- 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Don’t fear for God is in control.
