"Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done." 1st Chronicles 16:8
This Thanksgiving, let us recognize that our God in His goodness, mercy and faithfulness has provided for us and He has cared for us spiritually and physically.
Sometimes as we sit around the table to begin a meal, we say grace over the food, and at times, we may even say it as a ritual. But this Thanksgiving, may we take our time to thank Jesus for His goodness and His mercy in our lives. Where would we be if it were not for our Lord's protection and guidance?
Why not take a few extra minutes and really give thanks to the Lord. We are truly a blessed people. Let God know this by your prayer over the food and for your family and friends this year.
What are some of the things that we can be thankful for? Our family, our Church family, as well as our freedom so that we can enjoy living in America.
Let’s be thankful to Jesus for how He has blessed each one of us and if we stop and think about this, we can see that Jesus has blessed us beyond what we could ever think or imagine.
Thank the Lord for saving us and for dying for us. Thank Him for taking us from a place of sin and lifting us up to become saved saints. And thank Him for residing in our hearts and for His unconditional love towards us.
So this Thanksgiving, take some time to give thanks to Jesus for what He has provided for us. Bless the food and bless His name and ask for continued blessings on you and all who are at your table. Amen
