Lead Pastor
Stephan Hurkens
Pastor Dr. Stephan Hurkens ('Pastor Steve') has been the lead pastor of ERNC for over 30 years. He holds a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling, and encourages all followers of Christ to connect people with Christ.
Pastor Steve is originally from South Africa, where the Lord had originally called him to pastoral ministry. Pastor Steve has been in full-time ministry for over 40 years.
Associate Pastor
Sharon Hurkens
Pastor Sharon serves alongside her husband, Pastor Steve in full-time ministry as Associate Pastor. Pastor Sharon is not only a pastor, but a life coach and Success Principles coach. Her ministry is focused on women and she believes that God wants to work in everyone's lives so that they can experience His divine peace.
Pastor Sharon is the published author of works such as Exit the Wilderness and Just For Today. She also holds a B.S. in Nutritional Counseling.

Jacquelyn and Paul
Buerkert
We met in 2003, married in 2015 after a long engagement. We have two beautiful daughters. We live in East Rockaway and love raising our family here, it's where I grew up. We devote our lives to raising our children in a Christian household. We love volunteering and helping the community and school.
